Transition® and XTRActive® Lenses New Colour

Photochromic lenses are lenses that darken when exposed to UV light. This makes the transition from inside to outside a lot smoother, especially for light sensitive patients.

We offer two types of photochromic lenses - Transitions® and XTRActive®. The latter is a relatively new lens and is designed for patients who spend a lot of time driving or outdoors. This is due to the darkness the lens can offer in contrast to the conventional Transition® lens.

Additionally, as photochromic lenses are fast becoming an attraction for all ages, the lens is now available in graphite green. This new colour offers a visually comfortable tint and an iconic cosmetic appearance. Feel free to ask for a demonstration.
