The Health and Safety Regulations (Display Screen Equipment) 1992 legislation states that if employees are using computer screens (VDU), then the employer must provide eye tests at regular intervals and provide the necessary corrective eye wear if specifically required for computer work.



As the increasing cost of employee welfare rises, we endeavor to provide local business support. We therefore offer a full private examination at our practice and any further required extensive examinations included, for a heavily discounted price of £20.00 for the first four employees and £15.00 thereafter.

Once your employee has had their first full examination at our practice we will control their recall, ensuring regular examinations of their eyes. If corrective eye wear is needed for computer work (specifically required for their job), then we offer VDU glasses at the​ following discounted prices.
